HV Mechanics | LV Mechanics | Diesel Fitters

Haynes is currently seeking qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic & Diesel Fitters/Mechanics for a variety of exciting roles in the Rockhampton region.

Positions Available:

• Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
• Diesel Fitter/Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical inspections, servicing, and maintenance of a fleet in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and SHEQ standards. Equipment includes forklifts, telehandlers, lighting towers, scissor lifts, generators, and other access equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes of failures.
• Complete repairs to ensure equipment is returned to full working condition.
• Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and service reports.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-hire equipment checks, reporting any damage for cost recovery.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Perform ad hoc tasks aligned with your qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in relevant mechanical field
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (or higher)
• Previous experience working on

Highly Regarded:

• High Risk Work Licence (e.g., Forklift, EWP)
• Standard 11
